    Der er er mere end blot to sider af stress, som vi bliver nødt til at forholde os til, hvis vi sådan helt fundamentalt vil løse problemet med stress på arbejdspladsen. I artiklen nedenunder bliver den hjælp, som stressramte medarbejdere bliver tilbudt, beskrevet som symptombehandling, hvilket den i væsentlig grad også er. Og kritikken falder derfor på, at arbejdsforholdene, der fremkalder stressen på selve arbejdspladsen, forbliver uforandrede. Det er altså medarbejderen, der med nye copingstrategier skal rette ind og tilpasse sig de stressende forholdene på arbejdspladsen - og det så typisk med hjælp fra en psykolog. I min optik, er det dog ikke en enten eller problematik, altså enten ligger problemet hos medarbejderen, eller også ligger problemet på arbejdspladsen. Problemet ligger jo i væsentlig grad i selve samspillet mellem medarbejderen og arbejdspladsen,  og derfor er det også der, at vi skal rette vores fokus for at finde en løsningen på problemet. Udfordringen ligger jo i, at vi helt fundamentalt mangler en forståelse for hvad der skaber trivsel og evne til at samarbejde og løse komplekse problemer i et moderne vidensamfund – og at vi tillægger den del så stor værdi, at vi prioriterer den. Det modsatte er desværre ofte tilfældet, måske fordi vi ikke anerkender den omkostning, det både er for arbejdspladsen og medarbejderen, når stressen kommer snigende og gør det af med det gode samarbejde - og de glade medarbejdere. Et Funda-Mentalt dannelsesprojekt ligger derfor forude, hvor oplysning og helt pragmatisk erfaring skal bane vejen for, at vi som minimum kigger på de to beskrevne sider i artiklen, arbejdspladsen og medarbejderen, og supplere med en forståelse for selv dynamikken i samspillet mellem de to. Ved at anskue forholdet, som beskrevet ovenfor, kan vi på ”afstand” af problemet undgå at pege fingre og bringe os selv ud af offerrollen, og tillægge både ledere og medarbejdere et fælles ansvar for vores trivsel på arbejdspladsen. Den opgave løses kun, hvis vi øger vores Funda-Mentale intelligens, altså vores fundamental forståelse for hvordan vi hver især og i samspil med vores omgivelser fungerer både psykisk, fysisk og socialt. Men fortvivl ikke, der er heldigvis håb forude. Det er nemlig en både spændende og livsberigende læringsproces at begive sig ud i, når vi beslutter os for at udvikle vores Funda-Mentale intelligens – med udsigt til at vil blandt andet bliver langt bedre til træffe beslutninger og lægge fortiden bag os - så vi kan komme videre og være tilstede her og nu. #fmintelligence, #fundamentalintelligens, #ledelse, #stress, #trivsel, #væredygtighed, #mentalsundhed,

    Fostering Psychological Safety in Teams - Build up Trust and Resilience Team success hinges on trust and collaboration. Yet, sometimes, building trust among team members can be a challenge. In such cases, we can draw insights from various experts, like Peter Senge, Daniel Kahneman, and Daniel Goleman, to cultivate psychological safety and enhance team efficiency and resilience. Peter Senge's Fifth Discipline emphasizes the significance of a learning organization. In teams struggling with trust, adopting a learning mindset becomes essential. Encouraging open communication, embracing mistakes as learning opportunities, and promoting a culture of curiosity helps members engage and grow together. Drawing from Daniel Kahneman's "Thinking, Fast and Slow," we understand that cognitive biases can influence team dynamics. Recognizing these biases and encouraging reflective thinking can lead to better decision-making and foster a deeper understanding among team members. Daniel Goleman's concept of Emotional Intelligence becomes pivotal in addressing trust issues. By understanding and managing emotions effectively, team members can build empathy and connect with one another on a deeper level.
